I composed original country music for Late, A Cowboy Song, by Sarah Ruhl. The lyrics for the songs were already written Sarah Ruhl’s script, but I had the wonderful task of putting those lyrics to music for a UMass student’s senior thesis production.
Each song is meant to be performed by the actor who plays ‘Red’ with guitar and vocals. This compilation of my compositions includes demo tracks that were recorded quickly during production and mastered afterwards by me.
