After a year and a half of authoring articles and videos for Pragma’s Tech Blog, I migrated to an engineering team as a dedicated technical writer. For another year and a half, I handled the team’s player data, game data, and custom service documentation. These docs encompassed tutorials, how-to guides, conceptual overviews, as well as visual aids in the form of diagrams, flowcharts, and other graphics.
I worked closely with SMEs on my team to outline, draft, and publish these docs. Some of the docs I worked on were revisions of older, out-of-date articles, whereas others I had to start from scratch and write with the rest of my team.
